Day 28- Something that you miss

I miss college. I miss going to college and learning about things on a deeper level than I did in high school. I missed moments that I look back on and smile. I miss driving down the one-way street in a convertible with the top down and blasting N'sync or Britney Spears. I miss late-night breakfasts before exams. I miss giving campus tours and being honest when I told people that I loved Averett. I miss CSU lunches. I miss hall meetings with my awesome residents. I miss sleepovers with the girls, filled with Disney movies and nail polish.
I miss college.

Day 27- A problem that you have had

I have had various problems over the years, but I think the one that frustrates me the most is the fact that I can't stop biting my nails. This may seem petty and insignificant, but the fact that no matter how hard I try, I can't have the self-control to not bite my nails. And for those of you who know me and know how much I like to control things know how hard this is. So, any suggestions? I've tried everything except hypnosis.

Day 26- What kind of person attracts you

Hmmm...clear slate for what kind of person attracts me. OK...here we go. I prefer taller guys...you have to at least be able to rest your chin on top of my head. Would love for you to have blue eyes, but as long as I can stare into them, I don't care. Other than that, I don't have a lot of physical "likes." I am more of a personality girl. I would like to end up with someone who is confident in themselves and is happy with what they are doing in life. Someone who is OK with the fact that what I want to do for my career is time-consuming at times, but will understand that I am doing it because I love it. And I will have the same approach to his job. Someone who understands that my family is important to me, and they will be a part of my life no matter what. Someone who would rather spend money helping someone else than on having a flashy car or house. The true treasures in life are the memories you create, not the material things. Someone who is not afraid to stand up for what they believe in, even if they are the only one sticking up for it. Someone who enjoys being a Christian and has become a better person with it.

Alright boys. Now you know if you'll meet my expectations. I'm now accepting applications. :-)

Day 24- You're favorite movie and what its about

Oh wow...favorite movies. Can I have one for each genre? I guess if I had to pick one at this point in time, and would be "Pay It Forward." This coming off of a great summer, complete with an awesome week at camp where our youth really grasped on to this concept and want to start implementing it.
The movie "Pay It Forward" is about a 3rd grade boy who is given an assignment by his teacher. "Think of something to change the world, and put it into action." One kid in the class comes up with the idea to have everyone in China jump at the same time. No one takes the task seriously. Except Trevor. He comes up with the concept of "pay it forward." If someone does something nice for you, instead of "paying them back" find 3 people that need help, and "pay it forward." And then those 3 people will help 3 people, and so on and so on.

No one believes that Trevor's project will catch on. While he is attempting to change the world, we also get to see what his home life is like, being raised by a single mother. We also get to know his teacher, Eugene Simonet. Even the people closest to Trevor doubt that his idea will take off.

This movie is a typical "Inspire-me-to-do-better-things" film, but the concept is interesting if you think about it. Our youth are going to take this concept and see what we can come up with. And even if you don't pay it forward to three people, even if you help someone else will make a difference.

Day 23- Give pictures of 5 guys who are famous that you find attractive

So, this was a great post to pick back up with. Who doesn't want to look up pictures of attractive men on the internet?

#1) Ryan Reynolds

#2) Patrick Dempsey

#3) Matthew McConaughey

#4) Taylor Lautner (yes, I am definitely Team Jacob)

#5) James Franco (although, he didn't impress me at the Oscars this year. Have some fun!!)

#6) I had to add in this last one...just because...James Marsden

OK. There you have it. My 6 Hollywood cuties. They all make my elevator list.
